This policy describes how Avaiya Gems (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit caratmate.com or place an order. It is written for this store. It is not copied from another jeweller.
Who we are

What we collect
- Account and checkout details you give us: name, email, shipping address, phone, and order notes.
- Payment details handled by Shopify and our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Device and usage data such as pages viewed, cart activity, and approximate location from IP address.
- Messages you send to sales@avaiyagems.com.
How we use it
We use this information to fulfil orders, answer support, prevent fraud, improve the store, and send email you asked for (such as order updates or a newsletter you joined). We do not sell your personal information.
Who else sees it
Shopify hosts the store. Payment, shipping, and email tools see what they need to do their job. Analytics and advertising cookies may run if you allow them. Our storefront was designed and developed by Avaiya Software; they are a development partner, not a second shop collecting your checkout for their own marketing.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar tools for the cart, login, and (where enabled) analytics. You can control cookies in your browser. Blocking some cookies can break checkout.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for tax, fulfilment, and dispute handling. You may ask us to update or delete account data that we are not required to keep.
