Natural Diamonds

A natural diamond formed in the earth. Avaiya Gems lists a diamond as natural only when that origin is on file for the stone. We do not upgrade a lab-grown diamond to “natural” in copy.

What “natural” means here

Natural means mined origin. It does not automatically mean a particular mine, country, or cutting house. If we have a report that names origin or a responsible-sourcing programme, it appears on the product. If we do not, we leave those fields blank.

Reading the 4Cs

Cut, colour, clarity, and carat describe the stone the same way they describe a lab-grown diamond. A higher number is not always the right ring. Cut quality affects how the diamond returns light. Colour and clarity are scales; many people cannot see the difference between nearby grades in a finished setting.

Certificates

Independent reports describe measurements and grades. Common laboratories include GIA, IGI, and GCAL. We only name a lab when a report is on file. A certificate is not a Avaiya Gems warranty and it is not an appraisal of resale value.
