Diamond 4Cs

The 4Cs — cut, color, clarity, and carat — are the shared language used to describe a diamond. Avaiya Gems shows these details on a ring whenever they are available.

Cut

Cut describes how well a diamond’s facets are proportioned. A well-cut stone returns light as brightness and fire. Cut is not the same as shape.

Color

Color is usually graded from D toward warmer tones. The metal you choose can change how color reads on the hand.

Clarity

Clarity describes internal characteristics and surface marks. Many are not visible without magnification.

Carat

Carat is a measure of weight, not exactly of millimetre size. Use it together with the other Cs, not alone.
