US Ring Sizes: How We Read the Chart for American Hands

The first column on our size chart is labelled US / Canada. If you already know you wear a 6.5 in a US jewellery store, that is the number to use on a Avaiya Gems order.

Do not convert from a UK letter unless that is all you have. The chart lists both. Measuring a ring you already wear is more reliable than wrapping paper around a finger. Measure the inside diameter in millimetres across the centre, then match it on the chart.

US customers often order from a different climate than where the ring will be worn. Cold offices make fingers read small. Measure at the end of the day. Wider bands feel tighter; if you are between sizes on a wide shank, the larger US size is usually more comfortable.

We cannot resize every setting. Hidden-halo and split-shank rings are harder to alter than a plain solitaire. If size is uncertain, write to sales@avaiyagems.com with the product link and a photo of your current band before you check out.
