Duties, Tax, and Jewellery Shipped into Canada

Avaiya Gems charges the USD price on the ring. We are not your customs broker. Jewellery entering Canada can attract duty or tax depending on the shipment, the carrier, and current rules. Those amounts are not a Avaiya Gems line item we can honestly print on every product.

When a carrier collects a fee on delivery, that invoice is from the carrier. Keep it. If a parcel is held, email the tracking number to sales@avaiyagems.com. We can share the paperwork we sent; we cannot waive a government or carrier charge we did not create.

Use a deliverable Canadian address with a name that matches the person who can show ID if asked. Rural routes and small-town pickup points need extra detail in the checkout notes.
