Canadian Ring Sizes Use the Same Numbers as the US

You do not convert a Canadian size into a US size. They are the same numeric scale. A 7 in a Canadian store is a 7 on our chart.

Still measure. Store trays vary, and a ring bought years ago may not match the finger that will wear this one. Winter in Calgary or Montreal shrinks fingers; measure indoors after the hands have warmed, at the end of the day.

Inside diameter in millimetres is the number we trust most. Place the ring on a ruler, photograph it from directly above, and send the photo to sales@avaiyagems.com with the product link. We will read the chart with you. Paper-strip circumference is a backup, not the first method.

Knuckles that are much larger than the base of the finger are common. A comfort-fit interior or a half size up can matter more than the number on an old receipt. We will say if a particular setting is a poor candidate for later resize.
